Welcome to the NZ Tattoo & Art Festival website. On the 24 & 25 November 2012, New Plymouth will again play host to the New Zealand Tattoo & Art Festival, the biggest & boldest tattoo event in New Zealand will expose the public to the history, art & culture of tattooing in an exciting, fun & friendly environment.
Promoted by Oni Events the festival will showcase some of the very best international tattoo artists including Nikko Hurtado & Dan Smith who starred on LA Ink, Nikole Lowe from London Ink, American legends Jack Mosher, Chad Koeplinger, Steve Byrne, Mario Desa & Boog “the Scriptkiller”.
Tebori masters (Japanese hand poked tattoos) Horimasa, Horishin & Horiken from Japan, Sabado also from Japan & Horibenny, Davee & Edek from Kult Tattoo in Poland, Dan Sinnes from Luxembourg & Punko from Spain with many more amazing international artists combined with Australia’s & New Zealand’s best will make this an event not to be missed.
In addition to the world class tattooing, the festival will also feature live music, burlesque, Mini ramp skate competition, art exhibitions, tattoo competitions & much more.
